Dealerships cannot buy Marine Industry Dealership Certification;
they must earn it. To earn Certification, dealerships must demonstrate
their commitment to excellence by meeting benchmarks and standards in
key areas that affect dealership quality:
· Customer satisfaction
· Professional sales, service, parts and follow-up processes
· Employee training, development and satisfaction
· Technical training
· Facility and grounds upkeep and competitiveness
Program participants are evaluated
in each of the above areas by an independent third-party consultant. To
maintain Certification, they must recommit and be reevaluated every
year.
